Boys and girls aged 6 to 8 can
join in the fun activities in our Beaver colony. We do all sorts of
things indoors and out, learning about the world around us and
marking our achievements with badges and awards.
There are lots of opportunities to join other
Beavers in our district for fun events and competitions. In
Beavers, the important thing is to enjoy yourself!
1st Ruxley have two Beaver colonies: 1st
Ruxley (Tealing) meet on Wednesdays at the Scout Hut on Tealing
Drive. Our newest colony - 1st Ruxley (Riverview) is based at
Riverview school and meets on Tuesdays. Both colonies are open
to all boys and girls in the age range. You do not have to go
to Riverview school to join the Riverview colony!
